Genuine OEM Used Car Parts
01 What does a genuine OEM used car part mean?⌄
A genuine OEM used car part is an original component manufactured or supplied for the vehicle and removed from a previously used vehicle. It is not a generic aftermarket replacement but an original part designed for specific vehicle models, versions, and trim levels.
02 Why choose a genuine used part?⌄
A genuine used part can be a cost-effective option when you need a component with fitment, mounting points, connectors, and specifications identical or very similar to the original factory-installed part. It is suitable for repairs involving bodywork, electronics, engines, interiors, lighting, transmissions, and many other vehicle systems.
Section 02
Part Compatibility
01 How can I tell if a part is compatible with my vehicle?⌄
The safest method is to compare the OEM part number on your original component with the OEM number listed in the product description. You should also verify the vehicle make, model, year, version, engine type, fuel type, transmission, installation side, and connector design. Learn more about compatibility verification.
02 Can I send my VIN or registration number for a compatibility check?⌄
Yes. For the most accurate compatibility verification, send us your vehicle VIN (17-character Vehicle Identification Number). If available, include the OEM part number and a photo of your original component. This information helps us identify the correct part quickly and accurately.
03 Is it enough if the vehicle model is the same?⌄
No. Two vehicles of the same model may use different parts depending on the production year, facelift version, engine type, transmission, electronic configuration, or trim level. This is why checking the OEM part number and photos is essential.
Section 03
OEM Part Numbers and Codes
01 Where can I find the OEM part number?⌄
The OEM number may be located directly on the component, on a label, moulded into plastic parts, printed on an ECU, stamped on a metal plate, or listed in the vehicle's technical documentation. In some cases, the part may need to be removed to read the number correctly.
02 Does the OEM number need to be identical?⌄
Whenever possible, it is preferable to purchase a part with an identical OEM number or one confirmed as compatible. Some components have replacement or superseded part numbers, but compatibility should never be assumed without proper verification.
03 What should I do if my OEM number is similar but not identical?⌄
Contact us before purchasing. Send us your OEM number, the product link, your vehicle details, and photos of the original part installed on the vehicle. We will help confirm compatibility before you place an order.
Section 04
Product Condition, Testing and Photos
01 What condition are used parts in?⌄
Used parts may show normal signs of use, including scratches, minor marks, dirt from dismantling, light oxidation, or cosmetic wear. The specific condition of each item should always be assessed using the product photos and description.
02 Are parts tested before being sold?⌄
Where possible, parts are inspected and tested before dismantling. Electronic, mechanical, or safety-related components may require diagnostics, coding, calibration, or professional installation to confirm proper operation.
03 Do the photos show the actual part for sale?⌄
Yes. The photos displayed in the product listing are an important part of evaluating the component's shape, mounting points, connectors, installation side, colour, and cosmetic condition. We recommend reviewing all available images before completing your purchase.⌄

01 Do you ship within Italy?⌄
Yes. Ricambi Centre ships used car parts throughout Italy. Orders paid before 1:00 PM are normally dispatched the same day. Typical delivery times are 2–3 working days. For further information, please see Shipping in Italy and Europe.
02 Do you ship to other European countries?⌄
Yes. Many parts can be shipped to destinations throughout Europe. For large, fragile, or heavy items, we recommend contacting us before purchase to confirm shipping availability and costs. Orders paid before 1:00 PM are normally dispatched the same day. Typical delivery times are 4–6 working days.
03 How are parts packaged?⌄
All parts are packaged appropriately according to the type of component being shipped. Fragile items such as headlights, ECUs, displays, and painted body panels receive additional protection. For further information, please see our Shipping page for more info.
Section 06
Returns, Exchanges and Warranty
01 Can I return a part?⌄
Yes. We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend inspecting the package upon delivery and contacting us promptly if any damage or irregularities are found. For further information, please see our Returns, Exchanges and Warranty page.
02 What happens if the part is not compatible?⌄
If a part is purchased without a prior compatibility check, incompatibility may result from differences in OEM numbers, vehicle versions, wiring configurations, or equipment specifications. To minimise this risk, we strongly recommend verifying compatibility before placing an order.
03 Can incorrect installation affect a return request?⌄
Yes. Incorrect installation, modifications to the component, or damage caused during fitting may affect eligibility for a return or replacement. Please refer to our Returns, Exchanges and Warranty policy for full details.
